    1. Key to the Text #1 “While sophisticated, Analytical AI systems rely on the patterns and correlations present in their training data, which may reflect existing societal biases.”

I chose this quote because I thought it was interesting that AI can still have biases. I usually think of AI as something that is supposed to give you information based on facts, but this article explains that AI can learn from information that already has biases in it. This made me think about how AI is not always going to be completely neutral or correct. It also made me wonder how people can tell if an AI system is giving biased information and how they can fix it.

Key to the Text #2 “Generative AI systems are not merely tools but collaborators that enhance human creativity, offering new perspectives and possibilities that extend beyond the conventional scope of programmed algorithms.”

I chose this quote because I thought it was interesting that the authors called AI a “collaborator” instead of just a tool. I normally think of AI as something people use to help them with things, but the article makes it seem like AI can also be part of the creative process. This made me think about how much AI is becoming involved in things like writing, art, and other creative work. It also made me wonder how much of something is considered human creativity when AI is helping create it.

Questions How can we make sure that AI does not continue the biases that already exist in society?

If a person and AI create something together, who should get credit for the final product?
