The last line grabs my attention because it talks about a ship sailing by and seeing a boy falling out of the sky but the boat has to be somewhere so it ignores the boy. I think this refers to the bad problems happening in the world, but everyone just keeps moving on.
Once the world was perfect, and we were happy in that world. Then we took it for granted.
I think the main lesson of the poem is in the first two lines. I think Joy Harjo is trying to push the message that we shouldn't take our everyday lives for granted because we never know when it will end.

This piece of the poem shows the idea of dogs being a man's best friend and that dogs are a good way to take someone's mind off things. The text says that the golden retriever's work is to unsnare time's warp and to retrieve the owner.

I think what Frost means is that when the boy swings in the tree he is free, and has relaxing fun. Frost wants to go back to being that little kid, getting away from life and having the relaxing joy that brings him back to old memories.

I highlighted the part about the wolves because I think it is a reference to Little Red Riding Hood because she was deceived by the wolf that ate her grandmother. Gaiman says at the end of the poem that favors will be repaid and the wolf transports the character as a give back.
