    1. “this self evident truth that all men are created equal, and that they have certain inalienable rights among which are, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Absolutely this is a word of great determination and she is ready to make a sacrifice for justice and equality. No society gain freedom without the shield of blood and making a sacrifice because the oppressors are highly benefited by enslaving people. Whenever women rise to fight for freedom, they are fully prepared, and they are ready to give all that it takes to win the war. I have seen various efforts of women collaboration to resist some unlawful action in society. For instance, once a woman starts a problem with his husband at home, the husband should succumb; otherwise, he will lose the house. That is precisely what Angelina Grimke is trying to do by recruits more women to fight against injustice and enslaver. This is highly commendable because what men can do, women can do better!

    1. “For he who knoweth his Master’s will, and doeth it not, shall be beaten with many stripes, and thus, have I chastened you.”

Thus actions of Turners supported with this bible quote “I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.” 1 Samuel 15:2-3. In view of this; Turner knew he would be killed eventually, but he wants to do God's will as directed by the spirit in other to fulfill the mission of rescuing his people from the oppressor. He did not want to be chastened and beaten with many stripes. Meanwhile, many people believed in him, and they see this action as an art of God that was executed by the servant of God, and the final judgment will be done after Turner's death by the almighty God, not white attorney, Thomas Ruffin Gray!!

    1. he looks upon you as worthy of nothing else, but to be cast into the fire

……. All saints are sinners.... According to Oscar Wilde, “The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future.” Because of this, I think Jonathan Edwards Great Awakening Revival and the sermons delivered by George Whitefield are too judgmental. Even the so-called man of God is found in a circle of sinners sometimes, and they committed an atrocity, yet people look at them as a man of God. The sermon seems intimidating, and many people may end up committing suicide instead of going to hell and cast into a fire. God knows we are all sinners, and God still gives us abundant grace to changes from our iniquity and walk in his way!
