    1. White players in National Basketball Association games received fewer fouls when more of the referees present in the game were White, and Black players received fewer fouls when more of the referees present in the game where Black. The implication is—whether they know it or not—the referees were discriminating on the basis of race.

I did a whole study case on discrimination in the NBA, and It was very interesting for me to find this type of information when researching.

    2. Members of culturally diverse groups may be less attracted to each other than are members of more homogeneous groups, may have more difficulty communicating with each other, and in some cases may actively dislike and even engage in aggressive behavior toward each other.

For me is quite interesting how people dislike others because they are not like them. Why would you judge or make an idea of a person just by where is he/she from or how he/she looks? Yes, I understand that we tend to relate with people that think like us and behave like us, but how far is that going to get us, how much we are going to learn from this people than from people with different cultures and backgrounds? It is hard to get a balance between this two, but I think that the people that can do it, are a step ahead of everyone because they are not only surrounded by people with similar perspectives, but also surrounded by people that can change their perspectives

    3. Contemporary increases in globalization and immigration are leading to more culturally diverse populations in many countries. These changes will create many benefits for society and for the individuals within it.

The more I immerse myself in different cultures, the more I learned about others while understanding the world a little bit better. Having friends from different countries, different values, and different cultures make me see things from different perspectives and reconsider my own values and perspectives, which I believe is the most valuable aspect of it.
