      Seems like a total waste of time, if you ask me. I can see the point of making visual representations of concepts, but unless making it 3-D is somehow related to the concept, it seems pretty pointless. Everyone is entitled to their own preferences and opinions, though.

    2. Connectors show the relationships between bits of information.

      Like flowcharts? Flowcharts are often used to easily convey information - I can see how it could also be used as an effective studying technique.

    3. It’s no happy accident that Thomas Edison was a prolific doodler and also one of our most applauded inventors. Neither is it a coincidence that many of the most innovative companies use doodling and visual language to stay ahead of the curve.

      I feel as though this strategy, like many things in life, may work for some and not for others. For example, it may work well for visual learners and even those who prefer hands-on learning, but for verbal interaction or listening learners? I'm not sure this would work quite as well.

    4. This reminds me of a strategy I often employ - storytelling. It works especially well for last-minute memorization. It can be a long story with every concept incorporated into it, or it can be sequences of short stories that you find funny or memorable. Doodling sounds like the drawing form of the same thing.
