    1. Putting our hands on students in any way can cause long-lastingdistress.

      Putting hands on a student is the ultimate last resort, absolutely. However, if/when a situation arises that requires restraint for the safety of other students/faculty, what are we supposed to do?

      To be fair, this could be categorized as anecdotal evidence. Subjective. Personal. And while there's merit in providing this to teachers, the solution requested may or may not be the best course of action.
