With Covid-19 shutting a lot of schools down it makes it hard to continue PE classes and it is hard on students mental and emotional health so I think it would be interesting to learn more about that.

Researchers have suggested that PES can enhance aca-demic performance by increasing the flow of blood to thebrain, enhancing mood, increasing mental alertness, andimproving self-esteem
Very big key point because it shows the importance of PE.
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
I think this is the most important section about of all of them because like it says in the text it results in things like sportsmanship.
studies of pupils
This would be interesting to learn more about because I have never heard of this before.
physicalactivity and sports participation in childhood and youthrepresents a significant predictor of later activity.
Does this mean competitive sports or sports they learn in PE units?
Regular participation in such activi-ties is associated with a longer and better quality of life, reduced risk of a variety of diseases, and many psychologi-cal and emotional benefits.
I think this is another key item of the text because most people do not look into it that way.

I think it is important that they talked about both Physical Education and sports and the meaning of both. This becomes important because most people think that Physical Education is only teaching sports instead of teaching a healthy lifestyle. This is a key point.
Findings suggestthat the outcomes of PES can be understood in terms ofchildren’s development in 5 domains:d Physicald Lifestyled Affectived Sociald Cognitive
Where did they find this information (the 5 domains)?
For example, Talbot claims that physi-cal education helps children to develop respect for thebody—their own and others’, contributes toward the inte-grated development of mind and body,
This reminds me of the standards for physical education. It made me think of standard 4 the most.
