Antigone is being warned of Creon's overreaching power and might and reminded by her sister Ismene how much she is loved . She is told not to do "something that is beyond your strength". Unfortunately she chooses to go against the voice of reason , rules and reality.

Ismene warns her sister to not go against the crashing and lethal force which represents their uncle Creon. She continues by stating the logical and obvious facts about life and life decisions ,but Antigone does not seem to be listening to the voice of reason, partially or fully because she has already made up her mind.
