    1. Spam messages, in the form of emails and texts, are “unsolicited commercial messages” sent either to advertise a new product or to trick people into sharing sensitive information through a process called phishing (more about phishing below).

What happens if a group or organization does manage to acquire my information? Am I able to do something to make them get rid of my information? The idea that companies can simply just take my information without my knowledge is already very scary to me but random groups having that same, if not more information is even scarier. So is there a way to get my information back or will that group always have my information stored in their databases?

    2. What operating system (iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, etc.) is used. What browser and browser version are used.

I know that many people prefer different versions of software and various browsers. But is there any real significant difference between these pieces of software/browsers or are they all relatively the same? What make iOS so much different than what android uses? I often hear that Google Chrome is the best search engine to use. But why is this the case and are there other browsers that are just as good?

    3. Use a private/incognito browsing window.

I have often heard that incognito mode is not as effective as it claims to be. I have heard that its function of making your web searches private and making your web activity more hidden is not very effective at all. If I was wanting to make my web activity private, should I use something other than incognito mode? Does incognito mode actually work well or is it really not that effective?
