This is important because it reminds us that video games are software, and everything that happens in a game is based on its programming.
In my opinion, I think interactivity is a "mental concept", since computers operate on a "input, process, output"(Stang, 2022). Interactivity is just how we percieve the uniqueness of computer reactions to our inputs.
