Although serious gender inequalities remain,
I feel like this also resonates with me because I still see in jobs around me that woman and men could have the same position at the same job and still not be paid the same. Which I think is a serious gender inequality especially since both genders have probably worked as hard to get the position.

The reaction of Black men to feminism has been notoriously negative.
Why would Black mens reaction to feminism be negative especially since it could include women of their own race?

As well as focusing on gender discrimination, women have campaigned for labor rights, civil rights, welfare rights, and immigrant rights, where gender is “tied to racial, class, religious, sexual, and other identities” (Boris 2010, p. 93).
This reminds me of what I have seen on the news where some religion involves strict gender discrimination to the point where woman get much less of an education than men. Due to the religion being circled around the idea that woman should always be there to serve their husband.

When women speak of gender-based violence—battering, rape, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse—or of racism, living in poverty, or aging without health care, detractors describe them as whining critics who are out to destroy men and the male establishment.
This point resonates with me because I feel like this is such a common issue still and is the reason why if woman do get attacked in such a way, it will cause them to remain silent. Which causes even bigger problems to every woman.
