      I do agree that walking games use a great deal of storytelling, but from the walking simulations I have played, I have not found them relaxing. Gone Home has a very interesting storyline and presents it in a unique way by having the player find notes and tapes. However, I found it extremely stressful to find all the pieces of the story and what to do with them.

    1. A game is a kind of abstract storytelling that resembles the world of common experience but compresses it in order to heighten interest.

      I feel like this is what we were trying to say in our first class when we were comparing digital stories and games. The use of abstract is a really good way to describe it and I definitely agree that a game is more interesting than a story.

      People are always looking for freedom and independence. The rapture of the rhizome labyrinth is appealing to people because there is freedom from the author and there is plenty of room for your own interpretation and decisions.
