i think this is kinda true because we would not want to be in a world where everything is lawless and its kill or be killed. as such we try to maintain order and come close to a utopian society

i did not consider this as a utopia but it is interesting because in order for a utopia to be what it is there has to be some form of government in play.

i found this funny because when you are in a dystopian world how would know when something is truly wrong or something bad is happening

i agree with this notion because this lens shows all the bad that can happen. as such people fear this and tend to fall in line hoping the bad does not happen to them

prisoners often are treated like animals locked in a cage all day, as such the moment they have a moment away from their solitude it is the only thing they can relate to freedom even tho their cage just becomes a little bigger

this reminds me of the early stages of covid when everybody was quarantined from their own family in their house

they are living in a world in which they have no privacy or security and that is not living at all in my opinion

i feel as though this a common perception many people have in this world. often times our greed over comes us, causing us to be selfish rather than finding a common ground with one another. this can be viewed in politics, war, and everyday life

this to me means that even if though we may seem different from others, we still have a similar mindset when comparing our egos

I feel as though Hobbs is saying no matter the physical differences we have between other men at the end of the day it does not matter because we can perceive ourselves to be better than that other person or pretend to be.

I found this interesting because from a scientific point of view love is nothing more than a means of procreation. however society has made people's view of love to be tarnished and viewed differently.

This statement made me think of the notion of picking the lesser of two the poisons when mitigating an inevitable situation. especially, since humanity deals this obstacle constantly

As people are being oppressed their identity is sometimes the only thing the can cling to. as such the feel a special connection when they describe who or what they are in society.This is because, over time when they describe who they are it derives from their oppression that they faced and overcame

I believe this notion is true because due to exclusion we create division with our own people. Also it leads to confusion and animosity between the two groups as to why one must be excluded from the other
