The simile cmpares her to a animal obviously below and controlled by people, confined to a trembling, helpless position. This simile also notices nature and animals, likening herself as closer to them than the monstrous slave owners, as they do not fall under an idea of humanity, seen as romantics as close to nature.

Repetition of superlative strengthens idea of Hetty being her focus, the top of her hierarchy, ather than the slave Owners. Repeating this shows her determination not to let their power structures infiltrate her mind.

    3. person I took the most notice of

The superlative "most" shows that even when she wasn't being overtly defiant, her priority and interests alwasy lay with other people in her position. She paints Hetty as heroic and courageous, strong as "the most actvie", once again using a superlative in an attmept to heighten the status of Hetty to the very top. The "most" important perosn there, despite the attitudes the slave owners held of themsleves. Prince is silently defiant here in not seeing them as the focus for her attention. Publishing this thought strengthens the defiance, showing slave owners that they cannot control the hierarchy inside one's head so will never truly have the control they want.

Beauty cannot be confined. The use of "wherever" suggests a sense of free, limitless movement, almost superlative. Beauty can occur anywhere. The speaker's identity as a woman means this could be seen as how she feels about women's positions underneath men. This oppressive position in a relatrionship that should be loving and special causes her heart to lose hope/ passion and "sink into the abyss".

    8. my infinite brain

Oothoon's recognitiont that her own brain is infinite is very powerful at a time when women wer told the opposite. Blake gives glimpses of how through the powerful nature of Oothoon and her self determination/ fierce desire to control her own experience. This reminds me of the courage and dtermination of Prince, who must have brought hope to many other women in her position, as she was determined to demonstrate the rights she should have against a society oppressing her.
