    1. Interestingly enough, the Framers took this into account!  Keep in mind that, in general, the kind of people that run for office tend to be “successful”, ambitious people.  They aspire to be leaders, not followers.

With such extreme division across governments and the citizens of the United States, working together seems like a faraway dream or fanatsy, but I wonder how much could be accomplished under actual unity. When it comes to politics, the divide and anger for one another makes it increasingly hard to try to engage in actual informative and progressive talks, which is where the issue lies. If only people were more understanding and made an effort to not be so selfish and hear others out, things might be a little better, but in this day and age, the most ignorant can be the loudest,

    2. Think about focusing on objective facts, statements that can be made about the Constitution and the institutions, laws, and processes that it created.

I think nowadays we tend to get caught up in so many different interpretations of what something, such as the Constitution, is supposed to mean or how things are supposed to be done. The problem being that many people can come up with their own ideas that may reflect differently from others, meaning that it isn't always so black and white because there can different scenarios where something might not apply because even though the law says one thing, context still matters.

I agree with this as someone who is affected by the media because often times we only get partial information on the story, making it more difficult to form a legitimate opinion with reasoning to back it up. It becomes our own duty to look for the information and decide what we think is the best truth for our own opinions.

    2. Studying politics and American government can be approached in much the same way.

I find this to be the case with many of life's lessons as they can often be applied as into several instances as part of the learning process. It's good to uncover and learn more about politics and the government that has power over us because we must know our rights and how to combat the issues threatening our daily lives.
