    1. Menu

A critique I have regarding the menu button is that it fails in the perceivable section of the POUR principles. It is tucked away in the top left corner which may be harder for those with visual disabilities or cognitive issues and lacks in differentiability from the rest of the page. It is written in the same grey-black font instead of a larger font or a colour like blue which is easier to differentiate for almost all forms of colour-blindness.

    2. Explore all of CBC

The Pour principle of operability can be applied here as instead of forcing the user to go on the menu section to facilitate through the different news topics, they are big and more eye catching from here. It gives users the time to read the content rather than forcing them under a time constraint to pick what they want to read or listen to.

    3. AccessibilityIt is a priority for CBC to create products that are accessible to all in Canada including people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive challenges.Closed Captioning and Described Video is available for many CBC shows offered on CBC Gem.About CBC AccessibilityAccessibility Feedback

Pining on the Robust principle of POUR, there is a clear heading that displays the CBC company had accessibility in mind along with paying attention to issues those with disabilities may have when navigating the website. There is assistive technologies like Closed Captions, audio readings of stories, and a fair amount of room for clicking on each news story so that there is no struggle for those with motor or cognitive challenges

    4. Latest News

The Latest news heading is at the top of the website, making it easy to locate and in a red font that makes it easier to distinguish from the background, bringing it into foreground. The stories uploaded to CBC are also accessible to those with visual impairments, allowing them to listen to the story rather negating them from the right to inform themselves of the news.

    5. Shorts

The Shorts heading is big enough and in a bolded font to make locating and accessibility easier. Like Rogan's video mentions, the website is not very simple to navigate. In this specific section, there is a lot of different subtopics to shorts and thumbnails with headings in smaller fonts making it easier to mix up with advertisements and overstimulating to navigate.
