This can be explained as how Ai uses lies to portray herself as the "model idol" with the perfect character, so everyone will still worship her. I can relate this back to the themes of idolatry and deception, as the idol everyone worships should portray a positive image, but in reality, lies and deceptions are the only way of achieving the perfection the idol needs. This also reflects on the performing industry, where an image has to be built on the foundation of lies, as no one is truly perfect.

It can also act as a hook for the fans, as they will continue to spend time researching her "hidden side," giving her the attention befitting an idol. As we can infer from "part of her controlled area," it may imply that she manages the dissemination of information available to her fans effectively. Alternatively, it could mean she is manipulating the fanbase by using her private life to maintain their attention and relevance.
