this is trying to say that Tyrone needs to be planning for a future for himself because he doesn't want to go to school. He says that if it wasn't for Wesley and friends he wouldn't be here working or anything. they both need to plan to have a big future

This means that if it wasnt for wesley and his friends he wouldnt be succesful. He wouldnt have been working on anything if it wasnt for wesley and friends talking him into it.

At first i thought this poem was about a jazz guy but then i found out it was about a poet named Langston Hughes.

I looked up who Langston Hughes was, and I learned that he wrote novels, short stories and plays, as well as poetry, and is also known for his engagement with the world of jazz and the influence it had on his writing, as in his book-length poem Montage of a Dream Deferred (Holt, 1951).

This shows that he is a good friend because he tells him to go to school and stuff because he cares about him. He tells him that if he drops out and gets a J.O.B he wouldnt have time to work on his songs.

This shows that he is nervous because he was shy when they asked him to read his poem. This relates to me because when i was in the 4th grade i did a fantastic job on one of my articles. My Teacher Ms West had told me it was a higher level of work that i did i was shy to read it aloud in class but i had did it.

I can relate to this because I don't really do homework either. I Saul feel like if its not important to do it but i also have mixed feelings cause Homework does help you . And teachers use it to understand where are you and to see if your'e caught up with things

This shows that he is loyal to what he does. He loves what he works on. That is his hobby.
