      It is interesting to see that different school districts would be able to adapt their curriculum to the demographics. If a district is dominantly white, would they still be learning about Ethnic Studies?

    2. Last night May 16th, at the Oxnard Union High School District, the board voted unanimously to pass our resolution for an Ethnic Studies graduation requirement.

      My concern with passing these Ethnic Studies graduation requirements to have these classes be put in, is who is going to write the curriculum? How are we going to decide who writes it? How can we ensure that the curriculum is written from someone with lived experience and not from the eye of the oppressor?

    3. The Tweet from @EthnicStduiesCA cartoon reminded me of historiography is the sense that it is how we are choosing to tell the past. Leaving out the raw and real details of others histories to make the white man look better.
