    1. So goodly all agree with sweet consent, To this dayes merriment.

Another bold statement. Even the gods and muses consent to his marriage! It is hard to argue with no context though. I think weddings are one of the most purest rituals of this time and even today. It is a thing of beauty, the union of two people eternally. It seems like something that humans shouldn't be allowed to do since we are mortal, which makes this statement so strong and cool. So at the same time the union is so beautiful the gods and muses have to consent.

I like the progression of the different poetic devices added in as the poem gets more intense. Here we see alliteration as well repeating the first three words of lines. All summing up with the end of the verse being echoed in the woods. It makes it feel more powerful as we progress to getting to the marriage.

    3. So I unto my selfe alone will sing, The woods shall to me answer and my Eccho ring.

This reminds me of Shakespeare, which is probably the most comfortable I am with early modernism. But there is always the, "Going to the woods" or "Go to nature" for the answer theme. It to me seems like another major link between the macro/micro-chasm. In this case he may be alone but crying out to the woods that are going to echo his message, essentially they will communicate his message to the gods/universe. Nature is beautiful and ethereal, so what better way to send a message than to have the woods echo it?
