Position SummaryThis position brings together three complementary needs: 1) analytic capacity to track and make meaningful use of global/country-level data and trends in development finance and fiscal policy; 2) strong relationship management experience to work alongside foundation program teams and our external partners to increase our impact; and 3) strong technical skills, namely proficiency in writing, research, and PowerPoint).Reporting directly to DPAF’s Director, this position will work on multiple parts of the team’s portfolio.Core ResponsibilitiesResearch Assistance (50%)Serve as a source of in-house expertise on development policy and finance, supporting strategy development and overall priorities for the DPAF team and wider Global Policy and Advocacy (GPA) division.Contribute to and produce research summaries and data analysis; write reports, memos, articles, and blog posts for foundation staff and external use in response to development policy & finance data and trends, new research, and political / economic developments.Develop tables, graphs, charts, and other graphics for presentations and written materials.Attend meetings, take notes, and write summary reports of outside policy briefings, conferences, forums, and symposiums.
