      This entire area is just kinda yikes. It feels less freedomy if they have to confiscate peoples stuff. Reminds me of the inflation of german currency after the world wars where they had to burn money for fire because it was cheaper than buying wood.

      The french coming into play was a pretty big deal. Their weapons, ships, and other supplies were very important to the patriots. It says later how it spreads the british out and makes them deplete their resources faster because they have to start fighting in more places.
