      I knew of implicit bias before reading this article but was surprised how important it is for many people. Enough that I California has even introduced legislation for it and some companies train on it. It does seem like a big issue, and although I am surprised, I support the introduction into training more about it.

What happens is that you are influenced by the arrows at the end of the lines even though you do not pay attention to the arrows or might even have the conscious goal not to be influenced by the arrows.

      Shows a clear and easy to follow example of implicit bias, showing that it is universal and truly does affect us whether we want it to or not. If the reader had any doubts, this example helps prove the articles point.
