    1. And let the misty mountain-winds be free

      The use of imagery here makes the reader visually see the image but also imagine how it would feel. I like this imagery because it reminds me of the trip to SAPA during the hike, and how it was misty and slightly windy but for the most part calming and beautiful.

    2. I bounded o'er the mountains, by the sides Of the deep rivers, and the lonely streams,

      The use of imagery here lets the audience imagine the difference between the rivers and the streams. You are able to see how the different singular streams come together into one river. The use of personifying the streams as "lonely" , can help us see how his descriptions are a mirror of his emotions. I like this piece of imagery because it reminds me of being at my grandpa's house in the mountains.

    3. By William Wordsworth

      The poem itself does not have specific rhyme scheme for example abab or aabb. It just goes like a regular story would. Even though poem with specific rhyme schemes do tell a story, it can get a bit sing song sometimes.

    4. Lines Composed a Few Miles above Tintern Abbey, On Revisiting the Banks of the Wye during a Tour. July 13, 1798

      I find the title of the poem really interesting because it doesn't really give off much about the poem, rather this title tells us the the context of the play. It seems more like a short story title rather than a poem, which essentially is what I think the poem is.

    1. wrings with wrong, have shaped to me

      Using Alliteration helps the reader understand the the authors emotion.When you think of the word "wring" and think of the action that is associated with that word it helps you understand the authors feelings a lot more

    2. And the sun was white, as though chidden of God

      To emphasis the lack of colour from the sun, the author says the sun looks like ti was scolded by God hence the lose of the yellow-orange glow.

    3. The smile on your mouth was the deadest thing Alive enough to have strength to die;

      The poet uses contradicting feeling or actions to emphasis the atmosphere between the two people. A smile is usually something that is genuine and people only smile when being polite or when they are happy, however here the poet makes it seem as though the smile was fake and was just a facade for the real emotions the person was feeling.

    4. words played between us to and fro On which lost the more by our love.

      I think the poet is trying to convey that their love blinded most of what was being said. Some word things they said to each other didn't really carry much meaning them anymore, because everything just got drowned out by their affection towards each other

    5. Neutral Tones

      The title of the poem gives us an idea of the atmosphere of what the poem will be like and how we should imagine it while reading.
