      Was the elixir an actual medicine bottle to show she was drinking for a cure but in reality it made her sick? Or is Chopin just simply stating she drank a lot of elixir? Either way Its an engaging way to describe what someone is doing.

      Does Bespoke mean "to speak"? If so why would Chopin use this word to describe facial characteristics?
