    1. A small part of this is due to the legal complexities in taking an idea from someone else, but more important than that is the pride we feel in bringing our own successful concepts and mechanics to life.

This is a very inspiring quote for me. "but more important than that is the pride we feel in bringing our own successful concepts and mechanics to life." That pride has brought them where they are now and brought many players like me to play and love their games.

One of the things that make Digital Extremes "one of the world's top development studios in the interactive entertainment industry" is that they care about the players. They listen to player feedback and sometimes ask for feedback when they want to add something to there game. An example of this is their latest update for Warframe, it is an open world map that comes with a new warframe that was fan made and voted for by the community.

    3. Digital Extremes proprietary middleware technology, offers a variety of unique tools and processes to help developers make better games - on time and on budget.

This is one of the most endearing this about Digital Extremes. Whenever a bug comes up on one of there games there is always a fix for it, sometimes on the same day. Their commitment to not only making good games but keeping those games going and bettering them over time is outstanding.

This is the game that made want to work here. It is fun and free to play and you can play it on almost any platform. The story is a mystery you have to slowly unlock and piece together while simultaneously unlocking more warframes and planets to travel to!

Unfortunately this is one of the issues I have with wanting to work at Digital Extremes. Unlike many of my fellow students I don't want to move out of Georgia. I want to stay where my family is and where I grew up, but working here will require moving to California or Canada.

    7. We love what we do here and work hard to better ourselves on every project we tackle.

My dad once told me "You can do anything you want in life, and it only takes two things... Sacrifice and Hard Work." As cliche as that sounds it is true. What D.E. is saying here only further proves that point.<br>

    1. We use several types of 3D software throughout development of our products. Currently for next-gen development we are using Maya and Mudbox from Autodesk, ZBrush from Pixologic, and Adobe Photoshop to name a few.

These are the kind of art programs I will have to get used to and use in order to get the job I want. Learning, training, and getting better at this is my goal.

    2. In addition to your resume, whether you are 2-D or 3-D artist, we like to see art samples of different subjects - environments, humans, creatures, animals, space ships, buildings, weapons, etc.

I am definitely considering a job in the gaming industry but I'm not quite sure what part of it. But I have always liked drawing and making art, so maybe this is the right direction for me.

    3. How does a person get started in the Gaming Industry?

These are the kind of questions I need to know the answer to if I want to eventually work at Digital Extremes or another gaming company like it. Questions and answers like these are what will show me what I need to know and do to work here.

    1. Warframe is a free-to-play action role-playing third-person shooter multiplayer online game developed and published by Digital Extremes.

As seen in the highlight, Warframe is a free to play game and in my personal opinion is one of the best. It has a very interesting story and a pretty good community. You can build and use warframes like iron man suits and use different weapons from sniper rifles to 7ft long swords!
