    1. The Liberator

The Liberator was a weekly newspaper published between 1831-1865 by William Lloyd Garrison, a white abolitionist.(Gustin, K,2023) (National Park Service, n.d) This paper is notable for not only its message of abolition. It also is known for the writers that it employed, including free African Americans and women. Of further importance Garrison used the offices of The Liberator as a stop on the Underground Railroad. In his later life Garrison continued to advocate for women, by advocating for the women's suffrage movement.(Gustin, K,2023)

    1. "Reflections on the Revolution in France."

Originally intended as a letter, this pamphlet letter and the political arguments have been used by many political theorist. The original letter was written to a young Frenchman. His attempts to persuade against violent revolution in France may have been from an attempt at preventing a similar violent revolution in England.

    1. O my Soul come not thou into their Secret, unto their Aflembly be not thou United

Genesis 49:6 The author is using the biblical passage to speak of those who oppose inoculation. The author is saying that he would be ashamed to join these people in their opposition to inoculation and does not wish to have his good name tied to their opinion.

    2. Hence to Rave, and Rail with fuch bitter Execrations, as are too commonly ufed, againft the Minifters, and other ferious Chriftians, who favour this Practice,

It is interesting to me that the author is working so hard to convince people to get inoculated against small pox. I find the parallels between the anti -covid/anti-vax movement and the struggle the author is trying to overcome interesting.
