Overall I think that more of the actual results from the study should be included in this article. The graph at the top makes it appear that the only thing asked was about the vaccine. When they begin to break down different categories of people and beliefs and whether or not people were able to be persuaded it makes it difficult to follow and determine if they knew that because of the study or if they are simply inferring or adding labels because of the state of the country and what they have seen in the news.

    2. the poll indicated that some arguments are effective at persuading hesitant people

were people asked to take the poll and then provided an argument or more information and then asked to take the poll again? How do we know if the same people participated from the different months and how do we know that they were presented an argument unless it was explicitly given in the survey?

    3. Republicans and white evangelical Christians were the most likely to say they will not get vaccinated

How do they know if these people were Republicans or white evangelical Christians? These are very specific labels. Did they ask certain questions to see what respondents identify with as they took the survey? The only information that we have is specified towards the vaccine.

    4. Asian Americans were not polled in sufficient numbers to compare their responses with other racial and ethnic groups.

conducted and released this survey also stated in the graph that the survey was conducted in March of 2021 but it does not state how many people participated or has the two most important parts of survey: no list of participants and no way of knowing if the participants were randomly chosen to participate makes it difficult to validate results and findings

    2. Last month, Beijing-born Zhao became the first woman of color named Best Director at the Golden Globe Awards. While several women directors have been nominated before, only one, Katheryn Bigelow, won the award

It is a big year for the history of film and I think that the writer of this article wants to really highlight the fact that the film industry is becoming a lot more diverse.

    3. Riz Ahmed, who starred in "Sound of Metal," was also nominated in the category. Their nominations mark the first time two men of East or South Asian descent were recognized in the same year, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Steve Yuen is not the only Asian American and the two are making history together.

    4. Writer-director Lee Isaac Chung based the film, which was shot in Oklahoma over 25 days, on his own family's story

The film itself was based off of the director's story. Crazy to think about but I feel that in the film industry we as an audience must take things that are based off of a true story with a grain of salt. While the event and the emotion may be true, the specific details can be very easy to change to better fit the plot.

    5. "Oh yeah. This thing continues to leave me in many, many tears. I've been crying throughout this whole process,"

Yuen is obviously very passionate about the work that he does especially regarding this film specifically.

    6. "I read the script and I was blown away," Yeun said. "I was in tears. Seeing the words of how a life similar to mine could be put on a page was very liberating."

Work itself was very close to him and his own experiences.

Film itself has a very deep and serious plot. It is kind of fitting that Yuen is making history because of it.

    8. History was made on Monday, as Steven Yeun became the first Asian American actor ever to be nominated for best actor for the Academy Awards.
