    1. “There are people who say you shouldn’t expose your children to people breastfeeding in public. So then we would say… why are you teaching your child that this is a sexualized thing?

Advertisements are the ones to blame for sexualzing something that was created to be natural. Plus 9 times out of 10 women cover up while they feed their children to were sometimes you can't even tell what they are doing. We should be more concerned about children being exposed to vulgar billboards.

    2. “The times are also changing,” Haro chimed in. “More women are working and have busier lives. Breastfeeding is more convenient for some. If they won’t be staying at home, they should feel comfortable feeding their child even if they are out in public.”

I was blessed to find that my company cared about working nursing mothers and had multiple nursing rooms so we were able to pump through-out the day and refrigerate the milk.

    3. “Mothers should have the choice,” said Wenske.  “We’ve found that mothers choose to breastfeed for different reasons. Some can’t afford formula.”

I believe this is a choice. As a mother that breastfed it helped me not only save a lot of money, but help build up my sons immune system and helped us bond.

    4. The students say they chose to highlight this cause because their research showed that women continue to be harassed or even kicked out of restaurants or other places if the owners do not support public breastfeeding.

I wonder if the women decides to do this in a modest fashion covering herself to were her breast aren't exposed will they still be kicked out. I assume this will be at the owners digression or by how the public reacts to it.

    5. While state law allows mothers to breastfeed in public, it also gives private business owners the right to refuse service to anyone.  The two laws are at odds for mothers who want to breastfeed in public and have complained that some businesses will kick them out when they try to feed their children.

I want to know the details of this law and what states does it affect? why is it that "private business" has that right to refuse service?

    1. My God, think of all the nets that are taken for granted in sports! Ping-Pong nets. Batting cage nets. Terrell Owens's bassinet. If you sit behind the plate at a baseball game, you watch the action through a net. You download the highlights on Netscape and forward it on the net to your friend Ben-net while eating Raisinets. Sports is nothing but net. So next time you think of a net, go to that website and click yourself happy. Way more fun than your fantasy bowling league, dude.

Who would had known something as simple as a net could make a huge difference and even save lives. I wonder since 2006 how many nets were provided and I wonder what state these countries would be in if no one took action of the situation?

    1. If we had a school system, a pre-K-12 school system that was truly multicultural in its focus, then a lot of these micro-aggressions would disappear.

I think this may help, but a lot of the times this needs to start at home I feel that will make a greater impact.

    2. whether it be gender micro-aggressions, sexual orientation micro-aggressions or disability micro-aggressions.

I find that sometimes people are comfortable with being called duragutory words if it's within their community and mostly used in a joking way.

    3. We received many powerful stories about micro-aggressions from our listeners.

I am some what guilty of microaggressions not meaning to and the stories told made me want to be a lot more sensitive when talking. Even if its just a casual conversation with my peers you never know what may rub people the wrong way.

    4. LGBTQ individuals are likely to experience themes of sinfulness.

When he speaks of themes of sinfulness is he talking about people believing that just because you may like someone the same sex as you or be transgender it is considered to be sinful?

    5. even an intended compliment, sometimes, that nevertheless suggests something demeaning.

I experienced this when I picked up my son from daycare. My son has a much lighter complexion than me and the teacher goes he has the perfect skin tone. This kind of rubbed me the wrong way because I know she was trying to complement my sons skin tone, but it came off as if darker skin was not considered perfect.

    1. Researchers also look for abnormalities in chromosomes that are present in cancer cells but not in normal cells. Sometimes these chromosome abnormalities result in the creation of a fusion gene (a gene that incorporates parts of two different genes) whose product, called a fusion protein,

I'm interested in finding out the process of how they go about taking the cancer genes out of the chromosomes and also if it only effective with specific cancers.

    2. Alternatively, call the NCI Contact Center at 1-800-4-CANCER (1-800-422-6237) for information about clinical trials of targeted therapies.

Could I use this as a form of interview if I were to call and ask questions?

I will be able to use these cited sources for proof of what clinical trials were done and who was involved in these trials.

To narrow down my options for types of cancers I should be researching I would like to focus on the most common cancers such as Leukemia, because it'll be easier for me to find reliable information.

    5. Scientists had expected that targeted cancer therapies would be less toxic than traditional chemotherapy drugs because cancer cells are more dependent on the targets than are normal cells. However, targeted cancer therapies can have substantial side effects.

This will be great to use to support my claims.

    6. Gene expression modulators modify the function of proteins that play a role in controlling gene expression.

I'm interested in learning more about this method and if this could be used when taking a mothers eggs and taking that bad gene out to lower your child's risk of cancer.

    1. ? The unemployment rate for black high-school dropouts is 47% (for white high-school dropouts it is 26%). Housing? Although black people make up just 13.2% of the US population, they account for 37% of the homeless. Voters’ rights? One in every 13 African Americans of voting age

I wonder how accurate these rates are and if they would be safe to use for your research?

    2. Alicia Garza was in a bar in Oakland, California, drinking bourbon when the verdict came in. It was July 2013 and she had been following the trial of George Zimmerman,

I like this article because it uses a real life story and can also be used as a source in your research.
