    1. lements 4D by DAQRI

I think the advancements they are making with technology and implenting into learning is aa great idea. The thought of being able to use AR apps like Elements 4D by DaQRI would have and science class way more interesting as a kid.

      Professor,

If you are seeing this I cannot find any of my teammates posts to reply to. I wonder if its because Hypothesis doesnt work fully on books you rent. I commented I could see their post in the dreaded Qr code article

    1. In a classroom, QR codes can be a game changer! Students can simply scan a QR code and go directly to a website. Teachers have the power to connect content they’ve handpicked to a QR code—students scan and visit the website you want them to se

I agree with this section. I remember the first time I used a QR code in the classroom and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Our class used it to join a game of Kahoot.

    1. Over the last few years, both the underlying technology and the way people use it have caught up to QR codes.

One example of a technology that has caught up with QR codes is Snapchat. When QR codes originally came out snapchat was still in its early stages with a very basic layout. Fast forward a few years technology has grown increasingly and snapchat now has the power to implement these QR codes for people to share. Providing one of the most effective ways to add users.

    1. People learn better from a multimedia lesson when they know the names and characteristics of the main concepts.

I feel like to a certain extent everyone learns better this way.

    2. People learn better when the narration in multimedia lessons is spoken in a friendly human voice rather than a machine voice.

This is extremely true for me I have had professors who speak extremely monotone and have listened to computer recordings. It makes it very boring when their is not any emotion/ pitch change.

    1. As people become more proficient, schedule in variants of the practice runs and expose people to different situations, so that they become comfortable generalizing.

I think this is a very smart way to make people start learning new information on their own. Once you give them the basic skills this allows them to demonstrate problem solving once a curve ball comes.

    2. Team members should complete this test independently, without any help or coaching from you.

During a snowboarding lesson before a client can go from the bunny hill to the big hill me make them complete a skills test. This test is done independently, from now on i am going to make sure not to give any coaching advice during the test.

    3. reinforce any points as necessary.

I think this goes with what I had to say above. During this stage you can make clarifications and emphasize main points.

    4. If you've taught a new process or skill, ask your people to demonstrate how to use it

As a snowboard instructor I find this to be one of the most important steps to make sure someone understands the material. This way if they understood something differently you can make corrections.

    5. Help your team learn more effectively by including examples,

Examples help me learn a lot easier. Like I said earlier you learn better when you can make connections between two things, examples help make those connections. I will make sure to add examples into my presentation and add "ask for an example if confused or need further explanation"

    6. Organize your information in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.

This makes a world of a difference I have had teachers organization their presentation well and not so well and it makes it much easier to follow and get their main message across when everything is organized.

    7. Then make connections between what they are learning, and their previous learning.

When you are able to make someone see the connections and figure something out on their own this creates the light bulb moment. Often after you make a connection on your own you tend to remember it better.

    8. Explain to your team what they will have learnt by the end of the session. Then, explain how their learning is going to benefit them, and the organization.

I think this is a smart strategy. By informing the people who you are teaching what they will learn by the end of the presentation, I think this will cause them to actively listen more.

    9. Start the learning experience by gaining the attention of your audience. This change in stimulus alerts the group that learning will soon take place.

I Would implement this into the beginning of my webinar. One way I could do this is by waiting till the class settles down and ask the class a rhetorical question with an assertive loud tone of voice.
