I find it sad that the prices were falling but the debts were rising. like if the prices were falling that means they pry get paid less but then they are struggling to pay their debt. and i feel like going into the political could easy start a war for them.

When police in Pittsburgh refused to put down the protests out of solidarity with the strikers, the governor called out the state militia who killed twenty strikers with bayonets and rifle fire.
I also found it very fascinating that the cops refused to put them down but then when the govenor wanted them down the cops refused so they called someone else and they put down 20 with riffle fire?

I think this is so interesting because i have never heard about the long depression ive only heard about the great depression and that it was caused by a bank failure.
