So, they all must deserve the same degree of blame.
"What also matters is intention and how your intention makes you feel guilty." e.g. if you fully intend to run a red light and for some reason your car runs out of gas and stops on its own; a truck drives through his green light (which would have killed you), even though the consequences externally were the same, internally, you feel guilty? scared? it's a big feeling. You know that this action could have had real scary consequences, and you know that it was on you.
