i feel like the lower number of tablet use is due to the rising number of smartphones being used.

I feel like cyberbullying is worse than traditional bullying, because with the high amount of media use, teens are now bringing this bullying into their safe places, such as their homes.

I think this is a very interesting stat.
most middle and high school age youth have access to a computer (88%) at home. Computer access varies by family income and education level. However, nearly all teens age 13-17 (95%) own a smartphone. Most teens (84%) -- especially boys (92%) -- have or have access to game consoles [1].
This shows how important technology is when teaching lessons to youth. Technology should be implemented often in lessons.

I think this is great, but these textbooks still have some way to go until they are actually non-discriminatory... For example, the photos portrayed in books are not generally very diverse.

As a future FCS educator, I find it extremely important for students to be able to connect what they are learning with their actual life.
