Because the value of beauty is so ingrained in women, they're much less likely to do something that will mutilate themselves, opting for ODs or cuts. Men are more prone to guns and hanging, prominent wounds.

      The need to take the Red Pill seriously is especially urgent for feminists who use the internet and social media for personal and professional communications.

      This is true, but groups also exist to 1/2 watch-dog and 1/2 satire the Red Pill. There is a certain entertainment--maybe empowerment?-- in finding all of the gaps in their system, undoing their mental gymnastics.

      Men Going Their Own Way,

      MGTOW is actually kind of a sad story (at least on reddit) -- it seemingly started as an actual group of men who were trying to create a community around recovering from abusive or toxic situations and expectations that men need to look a certain way, be with somebody, etc. fairly wholesome.....then it got flooded with "incel" types and got so bad.

      This wording interests me because I don't think that a homosexual intimacy between women being put on blast makes it necessarily better. Lesbians/Bi girls/women are simply more palatable to cishet men who can fetishize them, especially online.

      Stabbing, when performed by one character to another in literature, often symbolizes an assault which is sexual in nature due to the penetrative and violent means of the act. Because Juliet stabs herself, it isn’t something that should be taken as a sexual assault, but instead as a symbol for the repeated violence of the patriarchy and blind impulsivity of men like Romeo (the dagger) in regards to love and the treatment towards the women (the sheath) of the 16th and 17th century that forces her hand. The dagger rusts both with the color of the blood that it will shed, but will also remain as an irremovable part of her because of the oppressive force that it represents.

      Beneath the Wikipedias and Facebooks and YouTubes and other shiny repositories of information, community, and culture, the internet is, and always has been, mostly garbage.

      It's interesting to see these listed as not garbage--at least on the surface--there's definitely a lot of garbage all over facebook and youtube, at the very least.

      the American crisis in free speech coinciding with the rise of platform power,

      I wonder if this would be addressing the suppression of minority voices/refusal to acknowledge policy violations for hate (often white supremacist) groups or the idea that we are so highly monitored and these companies use our data and posting to track us or sell info? Or if I'm completely off track altogether.
