This is insane but true, just having a degree doesn't mean you'll get the job you really want, there is way more to do for certain professions, for example to become a veterinarian you need way more than just a bachelors in science or something related. They mostly look for experience in clinics, volunteer hours, and your hobbies outside of the vet med field.
