    1. A student who has received one D or F in a previous nursing course will have the grade calculated into the cumulative overall GPA.

This may not apply to me now but it can if i take a different nursing course before applying to this one. I need to make sure i go above and beyond to make sure that i am not slacking my grades. I need to remember that the number one priority right now should be my education.

    2. Complete the TEAS test; only the first two attempts will be reviewed.

I am not too sure what TEAS test is but i know that i need to look into it. It states that i will only have two attempts therefore i need to make sure i know what content will be asked. This is significant because this is a mandatory test that i need to get a good grade on.

    3. Be in good standing at Georgia Gwinnett College or other accredited academic institution with a 2.0 overall GPA.

Once i start college at hopefully GGC, i will keep in mind that i need more than a 2.0 GPA to be outstanding. I am not sure what my current high school GPA is at the moment but last time i checked it was a 3.0? This tells me that hopefully college wont be as difficult as i think it will.

    4. Obtain one (1) recommendation from a professional/work reference

This is significant because i am antisocial for the most part and i should have a close understanding with a boss or a teacher from school so they can write me a recommendation letter. The way i will attain this is by starting to socialize or start having casual conversation with more people around me. Although i do no think being introverted can be completely negative, this will be an advantage for me.

    5. Science courses required for the program must be less than 6 years old.

I will need to make sure to apply for the nursing program before my science course grade will be invalid. This is significant because i am not completely sure if i want to start my career a little later once i'm for certain that i want to pick nursing. I have to keep in mind that i need to start thinking if i wan to go ahead and start this career right after high school or have a little gap year.

    6. Course history will be evaluated in determining acceptance into program

The way i would satisfy this requirement would be by taking in consideration that prior course grades will be revised. This is significant because most people feel that certain grades wont matter in college, but now i know that everything counts. I have friends who would help me keep up with this, but ultimately i will have to take charge for my own responsibilities.

    7. Courses not used in overall GPA can be reviewed for academic performance history.

Courses that wouldn't be a requirement in the application would be my English course. Although my English course is important i wont need it for my application but, i can list it as an academic performance.

    8. Provide a typed-written personal statement, 500 words or less, addressing the topic: "Tell us about a time in which you faced an ethical dilemma.

An additional requirement that is mandatory and extremely important is to write an essay about facing an ethical dilemma. This is significant because i have personal dilemmas in my life involving morals with my family. For instance, i struggle forcing a relationship with my mom.

    9. Minimum overall GPA of 2.5 in required general education courses for nursing and a minimum of a 3.0 overall science GPA

The way i would satisfy this requirement would be by setting S.M.A.R.T. goals. I need to take things in a time schedule and make sure i'm following it so i don't fall behind. This is significant because it is the best way that i know would personally help me achieve this.

    10. A student applying to the Nursing program for fall semester may not be enrolled in any area F or science courses during the preceding summer semester. Completion of all core courses in spring semester is highly recommended for fall applicants.

A requirement to apply to the GGC nursing program is to not have failed any science courses or failed classes in general. This is significant because i usually do not do well in science courses so that is something i will have to remember. I know that this is something i will have to work on to enter the course.

    1. The first veterinary college was founded in Lyon, France in 1762 by Claude Bourgelat.[5] According to Lupton, after observing the devastation being caused by cattle plague to the French herds, Bourgelat devoted his time to seeking out a remedy.

It is interesting to discover the history of veterinarian practices and the person who chose to devote their time to finding a cure for animals. This reminded me of the song "the light is coming" by Ariana Grande because in her song she explains how light comes to shine dark times. it makes me think that the founder was a light to animals.
