      With the poet explaining how he is able to love someone who is seen with unworthiness, helps to understand his deep love for this lady. "If thy unworthiness raised love in me, More worthy I to be beloved of thee."

      Shakespeare expresses his wonder on how the lady he loves; even though she has an inefficiency with being attractive, she still is able to have his heart crying out for her. The poet also further explains how the lady he loves should also feel affection towards him for seeing over her bad qualities.

      Here is an occurrence of the Volta used in the poem. The poet had first begun explaining how the his affection towards the lady he loves were all from the "good" qualities she has. "O, from what power hast thou this powerful might With insufficiency my heart to sway?" All of a sudden the poet explains how the things that people despise in her (unworthiness) makes him love her. "If thy unworthiness raised love in me, More worthy I to be beloved of thee."
