      Interesting that they use the word "spirit". It reminds me of Caesar's ghost, which is haunting Brutus. Brutus wanted to seperate key aspects of Caesar in order to create a somewhat perfect ruler, and he did not succeed which is why Caesar's ghost appears to him.

      The idea of bringing masculinity into why the conspirators did what they did- their masculinity felt threatened by Caesar and his power. They kill him, and diminish him to the status of a women, which is, traditionally, inferior to them.

This endless cycle and exchange of power just leads to one monarchy to the next, with a bloodbath in between each new leader.
