this is a critical observation. learning is the students process. I theoretically dislike the use of the word teaching because it places the process on the wrong person.

How, then, can we create courses that are appropriate to the students’ abilities, sensitive to the students’ needs, and responsive to the students’ learning styles?
I know i am working with a prof who is interested in their students when they tell me they don't know how they are going to teach until they have met the students. Unusual, but it does happen
