    1. They say that time's supposed to heal ya

This is just telling about how when things go wrong people normally take time to think about whatever they are going through and find a way to deal with there situation, thus "healing" through time.

    1. blows

The way blows is used in this poem makes me believe that it means punches or hits, saying that the person will want to hurt someone and will also be hurt at some point.

    1. But I've got a blank space, babyAnd I'll write your name

This shows how the speaker doesn't mind being in a short-term relationship with the person they are talking to.

This tells us that the speaker definitely isn't taking the soon-to-be relationship seriously and obviously doesn't plan on it lasting a very long time.

    3. You're the King, baby, I'm your Queen

I think the author used this line as a sort of metaphor to show how it's all up to the other person and how they are in control/ in charge because the King is normally the ruler of all and the Queen is always by his side kind of taking his orders.

    4. and swiveling back to see an orange blur    floating perfectly through the net

This tells us that he made the shot into the net but the fact that he only saw an orange blur after he fell is personally concerning and seems to imply that he hit his head and got badly hurt.

    5. hook shot kisses

It's very interesting how these three words are put together because hook and shot are very aggressive words where as kisses is more positive and gentle.
