    1. The Writing Center provides support for individual and group writing projects through peer-to-peer consultations. Writing consultants provide help throughout the writing process, including brainstorming initial ideas, understanding prompts, and helping students strengthen their writing skills.

      This could be useful to students who are struggling with certain essays or topics and is a major tool to use as NKU.

    1. In today’s complex information environment, the average user has access to over one billion websites and over one hundred million videos on YouTube. Millions of books, magazines, and articles are published every year.  Finding the right information for the right purpose takes some skill and attention.

      This section shows how important and overlooked information literacy is and why we need to study it as students. I did not realize just how many sources were out there.

      Not only do the Six concepts from The Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education give good descriptions of what I need to do and look for, but it also gives me questions to help discern what I am reading better and more confidently.
