    1. Criticism is the examination and test of propositions of any kind which are offered for acceptance, in order to find out whether they correspond to reality or not

Criticism, a thing which we almost do daily at our studies, work, home etc. Actually we criticise to defense our ego and prove others that we are superior and it is said correctly that it is an examination and test of propositions of any kind which offered for acceptance. But sometimes we criticise to know whether it is true or not, real or not. Here is a link of a site that states why we criticise (highlighted in yellow): https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/anger-in-the-age-entitlement/201404/whats-wrong-criticism%3Famp&ved=2ahUKEwjDxNLpz8rpAhXRAp0JHX9NAnkQFjABegQIDBAH&usg=AOvVaw3eEE08mEnFscrTHVn0APsi&ampcf=1

    2. Socrates established the fact that one cannot depend upon those in “authority” to have sound knowledge and insight.

In the real world, it is true as Socrates said that a person cannot always rely on someone bigger or superior to him or her for any kind of philosophy or wisdom because it can be possible that the one who is above them may not be loyal or can put them in a trouble, because everyone in this universe is mean and always thinks about themselves first and their is nothing wrong into it though as we are humans and will always look for ourselves first.
