    1. People used social media in a way that went far beyond knowing how to click and deep into civic uses and navigating ways to communicate with others under the radar of a communication-hindering government.

I agree with this statement because social media has grown to be so much more than just opinions being expressed. Social media now has went as far as persuading people on who to vote for. This is the way the use social media to "communicate with others under the radar".

Final Annotation- We agree with this statement because it takes effort and dedication to become successful. In our opinion, effort and dedication starts with determination. Without, these characteristics of dedication, you become unmotivated. Being passionate about something for example being in college, determines how much time and energy you put into perfecting your work. 1. The first has to do with the “scientific” aspect of sociology or, rather, the empirical aspect. According to the hegemonic narrative, it was the Chicago School that innovated: the sociologists of Chicago were the first to go into communities, observe, collect data, and then systematically analyze it.

This miniature paragraph caught my attention because it was recognizing data I wasn't familiar with. I wasn't aware the sociologists of Chicago first went into communities. I was never informed the sociologist ever even went into communities. I always assumed they just gathered data and analyzed. Therefore , this is interesting because it taught me important information i never knew about.
