    1. But his operations taken together are so insignificant, a little chipping, baking, patching, and washing, that in an impression so grand as that of the world on the human mind, they do not vary the result.

I honestly do not have a clue on how this could be a kind of "yoga" most likely because my overall comprehension of the text is low, but I think one becomes authentic by remaining true to there soul. It kind of sounds cheesy but doing what you want to do in this life and thinking the way you want to think allows for a greater authentic existence. This may sound easy but often times humans with a little bit of influence can be easy manipulated and become "unauthentic". To be a authentic artist or thinker is a way of life. You cannot force masterpieces that are unauthentic because it is untrue to your natural way of thinking and does not allow for a free flow of ideas that would naturally come to the artist or thinker. I find this to be especially true when trying to write an essay that I do not personally agree with, I will often times get writers block and it sounds robotic without flow.

    2. Nature and the Soul

When Emerson says, "nature and the soul" in reference to what the universe is composed of those are binaries. The soul being us as humans having souls and nature as being the rest of the un-manmade world.

    3. NATURE

I think this essay expands on what sublime really comes down to. In Cole's writing he is more appreciating the nature, but in Emerson's he is justifying that nature is all around us and makes the world up as we know it. Even beyond that point he goes to talk about our reasoning for existence a lot saying that, "All science has one aim, namely, to find a theory of nature." I think this may have been true in his time with underdeveloped sciences but in today's world there a scientists who have a theory on why nature was created yet still pursue science. Why would a scientist do this if still only trying to pursue the theory of nature that we already have discovered.

    1. One day First Man brought home a fine deer that he had killed. First Woman said, “I thank my vagina for this deer.” First Man demanded to know what she meant. “I mean that you bring me food because you wish to have sex with me,” she said. “But we women could live happily without men. We are the ones who gather the food and till the fields. We have no need of men.”

I found it funny that in such an old tale it seems to be a story often heard today. During today's age feminism is reaching new heights, yet they say similar things, that they do not need men. Wether this is true or not it does not matter because the interesting part is that something some women say today was once an idea way back at the beginning when these stories were crafted.

    1. After examining the role of hózhó in their crafts, Haraway shows how this important concept explains the structure of many Navajo legends.

Throughout growing up I feel it is natural for a human to question you're existence and where you came from. It will never cease to amaze me how many thousands of religions there are with all of these vivid stories of there gods and spirits. Not only are they vivid but most of the time intertwined with one another falling seamlessly into the next. I wonder if these stories were crafted slowly over a period of time or created by one person all at once.

    2. When translated into English, it expresses concepts such as “beauty, perfection, harmony, goodness, normality, success, wellbeing, blessedness, order, and ideal.” It’s the “journey by which an individual strives toward and attains this state of wellness.”[2]

I am interested by how many meanings just her name alone has. I wonder if this is a sign that there language was more complex or more rudimentary.

    1. Discord server

I like the fact that you are using discord. It is a very efficient and easy to use website. Only problem with this website is that you may one day get a student who can post it on the internet and it can get flooded with random people, however I am pretty sure you can make servers private. Not sure if you have or have not done this yet but it would make you're server more secure.

    2. Late work will be accepted up to three days after the due date, with a 10% decrease each day.

Fairly easy and generous late work policy, a lot of teachers will not let you turn in late work.

    3. Weekly Quizzes

I personally like weekly quizzes because it is a quiz of what is fresh in my memory versus every unit or something similar because then I have a harder time remembering each chapter. Also, it is a great opportunity for points.
