Feels like such a healthy and authentic lens to take in the writing world!

:) Like this idea of staying true to yourself within the framework of traditional English assigments

Interesting idea- instead of entirely restarting foundation to build a good writing voice, simply elevate what you already have

Very real feeling I have even felt myself in English classes- can make you feel unintelligent when in relaity you are just not fitting the rigid mold

This can lead to loss of culture as English is pritotized in the classroom and society

goes beyond just writing, once again trying to erase diversity and cultures in this nation

Like this comparison, conventionally over time we accepted standards of good writing as a universal truth, never been challenged and forcing many young students to fill this rigid mold and will not survive academically if not mastered (air we breathe)

concept constantly needs to be practiced not even mastered by well accomplished writers

protest this dated system by actively using authenic voice in writing

Interesting idea, although many speak only one language we are bilingual in the many versions we speak and suppress
