      I chose to tag "the story of tonight" as an event because the characters are talking about how what they do tonight will be leave a mark in their legacy and will be so influencial that their children will tell "the story of tonight."

    1. Learning will not happen quickly and it will be a good journey to further educate myself in the space.

      I think you did a great job, but maybe for the module assignment talk about your experience collaborating with the class about how to tag specific words.

    2. . I felt that finishing this before the rest of the encoding made things simpler because once we started encoding different parts of the songs,

      I followed the same process to my encoding as you because I felt that it also made it easier to tag specific words after encoding the lines, speakers, speech, and title.

    3. Dear Theodosia is a bit different than many of the other songs in the Hamilton Soundtrack in that it falls under more of an alternative musical genre as opposed to hip-hop, pop, or even R&B which is what the majority of the songs are. 

      I would definitely agree with you here in that "Dear Theodosia" does not fall under the R&B and Hip-Hop genre that most Hamilton songs follow.

      I think this is a great use of the trend tool here because we can see the drop-off and increase for the usage of words from Act 1 to Act 2.

    2. This is because a large part of act 2 describes Burr and the way that he and Hamilton had a duel in which Hamilton was killed at the hands of Burr.

      Just for the future, maybe describe what Burr and Hamilton were doing in Act 1 so we can really understand the difference between Acts.

    3. Using voyant tools and text analysis, you can understand that these two have a lot of back and forth,

      In addition to Voyant Tools, I would suggest listening to some of the songs from the play because you can hear how they interact with each other.

    4. both words ‘Hamilton’ and ‘Burr’, it is easy to see that there is a connection between the two characters.

      Similar to my reflection essay, I also wrote about the relationship between Burr and Hamilton.
