In the UKB cohort, we cannot exclude the possibility of a recallbias, as these participants completed retrospective questionnaires andlikely relied on information received, at some point, from their par-ents. We mitigated this by including only participants who providedconsistent answers regarding PEMCS between the initial assessmentand the neuroimaging visit.
Can the researchers really consider this mitigation when participants could just be consistently recalling misinformation?
