      This is important to think about as a teacher because our students may have so much more going on than visible to us. Although this quote is not saying that exactly, I think it is pointing out that we need to dig deeper than the surface and learn more than the basic information to truly understand.

      This quote stood out to me because we learn so much in our time in the education program, and not everything is going to be exactly what we believe will work best in our classrooms. It is our job to take in all the information we learn, and decide if it is helpful towards our style of teaching in the future.
