      Jon Becker suggested this piece for us to test out some annoation. I think he couldn't resist annotating a blog post about a Twitter chat about annotation! Very meta.

    1. I understand some faculty will remember these but I'm not sure invoking an old program is a strong lead to open with. What's the essence of the pitch?

      "Got a great idea for improving student learning? ALTfunds can help your idea become reality."

    2. The language here is broad and not immediately clear. Concretely, what does this mean? Maybe "...committed to trying new approaches to learning that improve student success."

    3. we invite you into a collaborative relationship with ALT Lab, so that we can work together to explore and invent.

      This seems vague and potentially meaningless. Maybe more like: Second, proposals must concretely sketch out how this project will be enhanced by collaboration with ALT Lab.
