    1. The national government created by the Framers has three branches of government–the Legislative Branch, the Executive Branch, and the Judicial Branch. 

      the framers of the Constitution, wanted to form a government that did not allow one person to have too much authority or control. With this in mind the framers wrote the Constitution to provide for a separation of powers, or three separate branches of government.

      I agree the federalist papers can't be ignored they remain an important collection today because they offer insight into the intentions of key individuals who debated the elements of the Constitution.

    1. Colonial assemblies elected by local property owners worked to manage many of the bread and butter issues and relationships that colonists faced. 

      Some of the stuff the colonist faced were drought, starvation,threat of attack and disease.

    2. Politicians and elected officials and the forces that influence them to a large extent are limited by structure of American government, and, much like books and magazines, are pretty interchangeable (the bookshelf itself is indifferent to its contents). 

      They end up using their platforms to help get out the information for everyone to know about. Which I really think thats amazing so they can influence us.

    1. Far too many people view politics in much the same way as they do when watching a show like Game of Thrones, House of Cards, or The Bachelor.  In other words, they focus on the drama, the conflict, the personalities, etc., and very often choose sides as if being a cheerleader/spectator is enough. 

      This is honestly so true I feel like a lot of this generation especially does not care about the facts and details. We tend to just hear about something and assume it when half of the time its false or incorrect.
